Mrs. McAllister is one of the Top 5 Adventure to Fitness teachers in the entire state of Tennessee and was honored with a personalized Skype visit from Mr. Marc! With over 25,000 teachers enrolled across the United States, it really takes an impressive class to be ranked in the Top 5!

Rocky Hill Elementary: Straight from the Heart Goodwill Sack Pack Drive!

Knox County Schools will be participating in the 25th annual "Straight from the Heart" Sack Pack Drive. Bring your old toys, clothing, and other gently used items from around your house that you and your family no longer need or use to school. All donations will go to the Goodwill retail stores. Rocky Hill Elementary: Rocky Hill Rodeo!!!

Mark your calendars for the annual Rocky Hill Rodeo! It is April 27th from 5:30-7:30. This is a free event. An order form went home with your child  but you only pay if you want to order dinner from Back Yard Burger. The games, inflatables and face painting are all free.

This year, RHES will have a hardcover yearbook! For only $25, the same as last year's yearbook, you will receive a hard cover, all color, 80-page yearbook in mid-May!

Rocky Hill Elementary: Dine Out for Education!

The ninth annual Dine Out For Education event will be Tuesday, April 17, 2012. The school district invites restaurants from across Knox County to join this promotion. The list of participating restaurants grows daily. Check for your favorite restaurants here.

Rocky Hill Elementary: Run for the Schools!

The fourth annual Rusty Wallace Honda Run for the Schools will be held Saturday, April 7th at 8 a.m. at the Knoxville Zoo and Chilhowee Park. A minimum of $5 of every registration goes back to our school.
   Opportunities to participate include a 5K run/walk, a 1-mile family fun walk, and a 100 yard dash. All registration forms and checks (made payable to Run (Continued...)

Rocky Hill Elementary: Dr. Seuss Week!!!

Great fun was had by all! Reading all kinds of Dr. Seuss books throughout the week was a ball!!! The Cat in the Hat took over Mrs. Hall's place and all the children were read to by a guest's smiling face!!!
