Individual Portraits - In addition to your child being photographed in their class group, your child will be photographed individually. A PROOF of your child will be sent home within a couple of weeks for your approval. Orders for individual portraits will be accepted at that time. You will be able to choose from 9 different backgrounds.
PLEASE DO NOT WEAR GREEN ON PORTRAIT DAY!!!

Mrs. Bertollini and Ms. Boyd coordinated an arts integration project that kicked off on Thursday, January 26th. During the school day, and that night, the Wood and Strings Puppet Theatre from Centerville, Tennessee performed the African folk tale, Ananse, Early In the Day for students and parents. It was enjoyed by all!!!

Please send in new colored pencils (no crayons- they melt!), coloring books with no religious affiliation, or small trinkets. We will collect these items through Wednesday, February 1st. They will be mailed the following week and should reach Mr. Smith within four to six weeks. What a great way for our children to reach around the world and help others!!!
Congratulations to our Spelling Bee Winner, Ansh T.! This year, our Bee lasted for 14 rounds. Ansh and Langston H. were the final two spellers. The winning word was vegetarian. Ansh will compete in the News Sentinel Southern Appalachian Regional Spelling Bee on March 10.
Good luck!!
